The Fox C-6 School District will accept Declarations of Candidacy for any person interested in running for a position on the Board of Education in the April 8, 2024 election. Persons interested may file with the Secretary of the Board of Education at the school district’s offices located at 745 Jeffco Boulevard, Arnold, Missouri 63010.

There are two positions available, each with three-year terms (April 2025-April 2028).  The order in which candidates’ names shall appear on the ballot is in the order of filing.

Filing will begin Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Please arrive by 3:30 p.m. to make sure the filing process is completed by 4:00 p.m.  Filing will not occur or be accepted on days the school district’s offices are closed due to inclement weather or during the district holiday of December 24 and December 25.

The last day of filing is December 31, 2024, with the office open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. that day. Candidates filing on the last day should arrive by 4:30 p.m. to make sure the filing process is completed by the 5:00 p.m. deadline. Required documents must be checked and the declaration of candidacy, including signature, must be completed by 5:00 p.m.
